I was complaining about traction to my buddy at work, and he was saying that since my car was doing realy long burnouts it was melting the rubber on the tire, instead of pealing it off, and that when it cooled it cooled into a "glaze" which makes the tires slippery as banana peals, which just makes the next time that much easier to lose the tires. Is there any way to, i guess "de-glaze" my tires? Like do a burnout and then go on the sHWY so they dont cool as fast? Anyone know what im talking about or am i just being feed crap?

There is no point in doing burnouts with no traction-loc. You just get one tire really sticky and it makes you spin the tires worse.
