Congressman Charles Rangle's draft proposal backfires.
You got to love it. He proposes a draft in order to make the Republicans look they they are evil and are pushing for it. So they say OK, let's put it up for debate.
Gets smashed 402-2 with even Rangle voting against it. Can you say*owned* !
The only 2 'yeh' votes were from Dems, of course!
"John Kerry is using the draft to scare young voters and veterans.
During campaign stops, John Kerry has worked to scare voters by suggesting that President Bush will initiate a draft. "If George Bush were to be re-elected, given the way he has gone about this war and given his avoidance of responsibility in North Korea and Iran and other places, is [a draft] possible? I can't tell you." (John Kerry, September 22, 2004)"
Now they (Dems) are complaining that the Republicans are playing politics with the draft.
I can't understand how you people can support this party! I really can't.
Wouldn't you be better off to throw your support to the libertarians or greenpeace or something instead of constantly being embarrassed by this group of ....?....(I can't even come up with a good word to explain them).
