Democrats looking to surrender

Just goes to show that the "haters" didn't dislike him because of his record or because he wasn't "the right man for the job". They just hate the President...to hell with the country's needs.

If the story turns into reality, I guess even liberal Democrats can have moments of sanity. Because as Bryan stated, opposing Roberts would probably be a suicide mission. And democratic Sen. Joseph Biden, a senior member of the judiciary committee, has already stated that he plans to run for president in 2008.

It seems Roberts already has the votes needed to over-ride the filibuster game. Just like terrorism, you need to defeat liberalism with overwhelming force.:F

I dont remember anyone really attacking him anyway - give up what? All I ever really heard was that they hadnt made up their minds yet, which is prudent. I never heard about any real objections to his appointment. We wont really know until the hearings start and I am keeping an open mind. With a little luck, maybe GW finally did something 'right'.

When the NARAL ad backfired, the whole left side had to sit back and decide what they were going to do. At this point, they are going to give up on Roberts and save all their ammo for Reinquists appointment. I'm not saying the left is going soft. Far from it. The frothing will come when Reinquists replacement is named. Trust me.


And you still have the Senate Minority Leader Dirty Harry Reid saying this is far from over. He has rabies anyways so he can't help himself.
