So, before I bought my car it had body damage. It was backed into by a truck, denting the drivers side front panel (not terribly though). And the previous owner was backing up, and scraped the lower half of the passenger door, giving it a nice long dent. Now both spots that are damaged are, IMO, repairable. But see a bodyshop will charge me a million dollars to have it repaired. I'd consider getting a new panel and..whatever for the door, but mines ivory pearl metallic and that's a very expensive and difficult color to match. Now, I'm not expecting to fix it myself and have it look like factory. I'll try the best I can, but mainly I'm looking for something along the lines of "less noticeable". So, what could I do to reverse these dents a bit? Thanks, y'all!

If its a crease forget it. If its just like a little push in, you may be able to take a hammer and lightly work the dent out. Start in the middle and work your way around to the edges. Youre not hammering a nail, youre doing some light but firm bumps and slowly working it out. Other wise buy a fender, and knock as much of the door out and bondo it, then pay a body shop to fine tune it and spray the 2 panels but it will be a little expensive because its a Pearl and usually you have to shoot a good percentage of the car to blend it, more so than if it was just a regular color.
