I was wondering what you people thought of makeing a town car into a derby car? It is a 94.

you'll have to disable the rear end collision fuel cutoff if you want the thing to run through the derby. If you don't want to burn to death you need to move the fuel pump into the engine compartment so you don't have to worry about ruptured high pressure fuel lines underneath/inside the car (i'm sure you already know but the fuel tank will be in the back seat.)

If you're derbying against cars from the same era the only thing you'll have to worry about is the full size GM's. They weigh in around a thousand pounds more and as so are probably better derby candidates.

Its nice to see some people finally moving away from running 60's and 70's cars through the derby though I thoroughly disagree with the whole thing. Unless you're going out there and wrecking a car that is untitleable or totaled you're destroying a piece of history that may otherwise be enjoyed and preserved by someone else.
