Yesterday my car was audibly pinging at idle, I could hear it coming out the exhaust tips. Can't hear any pinging when driving or revving up the car at idle. Today I started the car and couldn't hear it coming out the exhaust tips... any ideas, maybe bad batch of gas?

Water in the tank? Use some Isopropyl dry gas from your local Auto part store.

Hell, you have detonation happening every time the fuel is ignited on the power stroke. :lol:
It may be bad gas, but unless you burned all that water at the bottom of the tank in one driving, I doubt it. A bottle of heet, as frat man suggested, couldn't hurt.
