What do they stand for?

I was thinking that DTS could stand for DeVille Touring Sedan but I could be wrong...

Anyone know?

your right, e.t.c. stands for eldorado touring coupe,
s.t.s. stands for seville touring sedan.

When caddy emblem is in grille face and not on hood , it denotes "touring".

except on the dhs where the emblem is on the grille... dhs means deville high luxury sedan. kind of a tacky name. they should have kept the "d'elegance" name.

DTS is Deville Touring Sedan; DHS is Deville High luxury Sedan. Both the DTS and the DHS had the Cadillac crest on the grille unless you had the NightVision option. In that case they put it on the hood because the infrared camera goes behind the grille and peeks out where the crest would normally be. DTS has a body-colored grille; DHS is gray. Base Devilles have a hood ornament and a plain gray grille.
