Well my Wife and I decided when we got up this morning that we would take a ride in the Mark VIII about 195 miles NE of us to a place called Holyland Experience and then back about 15 miles to Walt Disney's Animal Kingdom, and the ESPN Wide World of Sports.

We left about 6:30am and got there about 9:30, and stayed at the Holyland Experience until about 11:30. Then we took off to Walt Disney's Animal Kingdom. Holyland Exp. was relatively inexpensive at about $100.00 for everything, then when we got to Walt Disney's Animal Kingdom it cost us about $195.00 to get in and then got raped on consessions thru out. We then went and took off for the ESPN Wide World of Sports and when we pulled in, too many people and was too tired to put up with the wait. So it looks as if we may hit it next week or whenever we get the urge. Here is some pics,

Pretty cool! I've been up there several times. I've been to Animal Kingdom 2x, had some friends who saw Holyland. Never done the ESPN place, but drove by it a few times. How'd you like Holyland? Seems a little too biblical to me,lol. I'm a christian but I'm not gung-ho about it.

Actually I was rather disappointed with Holyland. I had been seeing the commercials lately and thought it was something new. I then found out that it has been open for like 10 yrs. But the original owner was a Jew who went bankrupt with it as he never commercialized it. Then TBN who owns the Christian networks on dish and direct TV bought it and has since made public as much as possible. It really is not that big, and the shows are rather less than expected. Would not go back, which is why we went to Disney after. And I think that Animal Kingdom is overpriced, for 2 adults it cost 200.00. And lacks in animal displays, and the only ride on that mountain had a waiting line that exceeded 1 mile.

I will be going to Busch Gardens and Sea World shortly, as I have not been since I was a kid, and the wife has never been.

Last I went to Busch in '07, it was still a fun time. Sea World, I've not been to that place in over 10 years but it has supposedly came a long way.
