This is how the LSE body kit came to fruition. Classic Design Concepts first created the LS-E kit and showed it at the 2000 or 2001 SEMA show. Lincoln decided to work with CDC to offer the kit on the 2002 LS as the LSE. Lincoln ran that body kit as a special appearance package and CDC sold the "aftermarket" kits. This was the same kit. The company that manufactured the kits was bought out by the company that makes them now which has all the factory molds. This is the EXACT same kit that I sell on my website. However, since the manufacturing company makes bumpers for the big three the LSE kits are small runs. That's why they are not making any more until mid-April. So, with that being said we will not be selling the kits until hopefully the first of May.BanginLS said:What the difference between the stock LSE kit and the aftermarket LSE kit. I was told there is a difference...

On the CDC kit, the lower grille area is empty:
You can get the front fascia's directly from Ford. They have them in stock. However, all of the older molds that were used by the manufacturing company is not used any longer. They mold the front fascias without the lower grille.ND4SPDLSC said:Can you order an LSE kit with the louvered bumper cover? If Ford used it, then they should have molds for both.

As part of the transition from CDC to Lincoln to the company that makes it now they did away with the louvers in the lower grille.
You have the same kit that I sell. CDC was the creator of the LSE body kit.mholhut said:Isn't that what I said? I don't remember anyone buying an LSE kit that had the lower louvers. Mine is stamped by CDC but it was distributed by some other company... got it through Jeremy back in the day.
