Can anyone tell me the the difference between a cartier, exectutive and signiture series town car?

well, the executive has the basic options, then the signature has more, and the cartier has the most.

Yes that is tru, the executive and sig have power seating as a basic option but the Cartier for example has standard power seats with memory. I think the Carteir came standard with the digital dash to.

That Cartier Town car looks like it has different color seats from front to back,
if i get another Town Car it will be 96 or 97 Cartier.:Beer

Well the pic I posted from ebay is a Cartier, except, the back seat is from an executive, at least the bottom of it anyways. They are not two different colors though, the owner of that car just replaced the old seats i guess.

I like the Executive because I can have the velour seats instead of the leather ones. Leather is nice, but it doesn't age well at all. The velour still looks like new years later.

I want a Cartier with Velour seats though.

Get a mid 80's Cartier, they have velour seats. So do the 80's and 90's Towncars. Executive and signature only though. The Cartier's from 90 on had standard Leather. Plus the 98 and up TC's have leather only to.

I have a 1991 Executive series, that is viewable in my Photo Garage, and it has the velour. It was stored inside when it spun the main bearing in 1994 (at 75,000mi) until given to me by the original owner in 2004. 10 years in heated storage in a Federal Mogul Building. My dad and I rebuilt the engine and I have driven it since.

It would've had terrible condition leather, but it had the velour that still looks unworn. When I get my new camera, I'll post pics.

As far as an 80's Town Car, I know they at best only had 150BHP. I need me more power. I want them to bring those seats back as an option in the new TC's.

If you take care of the leather and treat it with conditioner it will last and look great. Velour gets worn spots that show.
