Digital Gauge's & Trip Computer

Well, I got an extra set from a parts 84'. But I switched the trip but nothing. There is power going there. But it reads nothing, all blacked out. Thats the same with the speedo, mi, gas. They all don't work. I could have swore they all worked before it went to the transmission place. But when I got it back I noticed nothing worked. The temp works, well displays and the cd reciever.
