Guys,

Please bear with me. I know there are a myriad of posts on this subject and all it has done is confuse the hell out of me. I just want to know what Cobra/Mustang brakes (calipers to the rotors...the whole front and rear brakes) are direct bolt on/compatible with our Mark VIII's (I have a 97 LSC). I currently have 17's Milla's on my ride now, so I know I can use a larger brake system. I just want to know what are our options and what modifications need to be done, if any, to use Cobra brakes (the 13" rotor kit).

I have been to discbrakesrus and they have nice products, I just want to know whatelse is out there clear cut and dry without wondering did I get the right parts and not waste my money. Thanks in advance for being patient with me and my questions that seem like hashing up the same ole stuff.

And thanks Geno, for getting back to me about some of the great stuff you have at LMS.

none are direct bolt ons you have to convert your hubs to mustang bolt patterns, new ft. hubs, rear wheel bearings and rear hubs then none of your wheels will fit so its pretty pricey, then you have to by all the brake stuff

The cobra 13" calipers bolt right up to the mark viii you dont need to change your front hubs to install these brakes, you just need to redrill the cobra 13" rotors to the mark viii bolt pattern. And you need to grind a bit of the top of the passenger caliper to get the flex line block to mount flush.
The rear brakes are a different story because the caliper brackets are in a different possition, there are adapter brackets out there to get cobra rear brakes on a mark viii. so you'd need them or homeade ones to put the cobra rear brakes on.
