disconnecting radio antenna in LS

I have a 02 lincoln LS and i'm trying to play my ipod through the radio via a fm transmitter and getting crappy results, is there a way to disconnect the radio antenna so i wont pick up any outside local FM stations or does anyone know the way to hardwire through the factory harness??? Thank you.

are you talking about the antenna disconnecting or the hardwiring because i know about the pie just wondering if there was another way...and i searched everything for antenna disconnecting.

You need to do some research on this. I put an ipod adapter in my son's focus that is NOT FM modulated. It uses a wiring harness adapter that utilizes the stereo's capability for an external CD player. I would bet the farm that something similar is available for your radio. I found the one I wanted online by doing some research and Circuit City actually had it in stock.

i found the harness 2001LSSport is talking about at my local best buy for the LS i think it was something like $90.00 but well worth it
