do i have to cut my bumper?

to do different exhaust tips (besides new turn down tips) do i have to cut my bumper?

I cut mine and put in Magnaflows.

once i start doing my exhaust system, im going with nice turn down tips. i like to keep the "stock" look at the sametime making even more of a sleeper than the car already is. i thought about buying the 95-96 bumper, but why spend money on the bumper and have it painted (if thats an option). im just that type of guy that would like to keep it orginal looking, but also on the same token sound really good.
