I just tried to install my new grille, and I couldn't figure out how to remove the old one! The Ford manual says I have to remove the front bumper cover? Is this t rue?

the screws are pointing in from bumper cover .
I did have a grill to remove but the parts .
When I unstalled mine I got plastic push things used 3 1 on the middle 1 one each side. use the things that hold the carpet down in the trunk.

I wish I had a pic for you/

The front bumper cover is pretty easy to remove, it's not that big of a deal to do.

This is a good question. I was wondering the same thing. how easy is it to remove the front cover??

i just removed it, installed the grille, and put it back, took me about 2.5 hours.

I told you it was not a big deal, it comes off easily;) Before and after pics?

well, it wasn't a pleasant task - a lot of the bolts were very rusty and some broke.

i have DURING pics:

It's not that bad, I did mine in 34 degree Michigan weather with it sleeting.

I used 3 of these cuz I already put my bumper cover back on .

I cut the round head in half to get them to fit in the grill . The grill is mounted good this way,
