Do you think this part is stolen??

So, I'm browsing ebay and come across this ad for a 1996 EATC. Seller says he changed it out not knowing he had a loose blower motor connector. So tell me why he cut the vacuum lines and wire harness connectors off? Me thinks this was stolen.:shifty:

I don't know what to say about the wire harness connectors, since those (for me) are pretty easy enough to disconnect without cutting. But, I can tell you that the easiest way to get those vacuum lines off is to just cut 'em, so I'd bet it's a legit part.

I asked him what all the wires and hose were cut.

His relpy:


"Thats how I recieved the one I put in my car! All your hoses and connections are on your unit in the car."

Sent me another message...

"I didnt cut the hoses and wires but when you hav e a car that you are takeing apart to sell for parts thats the way you do it . this way people without a clue can see where it all goes together after you pull it apart."
