on the LS? If so how would I know if my car has it. I went and got tires put on my car last night and went with 245/45/17 Toyo proxys and now my car looks like there is more wheel gap. Is that because of the lower profile tires or did something get screwed up w/suspension? Thanks.

the tire is slightly smaller than the OEM 235/50r17 tires - so more gap.

There isn't OE or aftermarket airbag offering yet - some folks have done one-offs.

Search for lowering springs - there are losts of options that lower between 1" and 2".

There are several different brands of lowering springs. Eibach and Springtech are a couple I know of. Eibach has two types of lowering springs. One is the Pro Kit and the other is the Sportline. The Pro Kit will lower the front 1" and the rear 1.1". The Sportline is much more aggressive in terms of drop. The Sportline will drop around 1.75" to 2". I run the Eibach Pro Kit and love it. It lowered the car just enough to give it that aggressive look. The handling performance definitely improved.

Eibach's go for around $250-$300. I have them listed on my website for $277.99 with free shipping.

thanks ken,
is this something a college student could do himself, or does it require some pretty intense stuff. Not forsure what all comes with the lowering process?

Air tools are pretty much a must. It can be done without them, but it'll be a lot harder. Me and my friend replaced most of teh front end, and installed springs and struts on his 1986 M5. It was a long night. Don't start at 7PM unless you want to finish in the early morning. Make sure you have a friend, and see if anyone you know has access to an air compressor and tools.
