I gonna do it soon but just wanted to if it slows down your 0-60?
Plus I gonna let someone else do it for me. Does $150 seems right for this job?

Why would it? Its just swapping for better constructed springs. I doubt it has any effect on anything except extending the life of your transmission.

Do you mean will the Jmod affect your 0-60? It will feel faster, but it probably has no effect at all.

I guess $150 is okay, make sure he's taken apart at least a dozen valvebodys before messing with yours.

I asked reinhart, so thats what he quoted me and I bet he gets alot of people that need the springs replaced.
He said after I get it replaced it should shift harder, (resulting in better times for the 0-60.)

I wouldn't let Reinhart touch himself. And $150 is outrageous. I paid $60 to have mine done...

Mercon V at the same time is mandatory. If the price is including that and the pistons/springs then the price is not outrageous.

i think the whole job between the parts, mercon v fluid, and labor cost me about $250. plus i knew the mechanic, he probably charges more for other people.

the 1-2 spring is just about as easy as changing the filter.

I know you guys say that but nitrobacher ruined his tranny while doing this and I don't wanna pay 1,000 dollars to fix it if I mess up

I can do a oil change, fuel filter, change the engine belt and brakes but thats it. Mybe if someone video taped how to do it, then maybe I would have done.

did he ruin it just changing the spring or mdid he ruin it trying to install a shift kit?

its different.

I don't know what he did but I know that he messed up, and I don't wanna be in that position. If someone from the JAX area knows how to do it, let me know if we can do it together.

He was J-modding the tranny when it went. Accumulators are SIMPLE

this explains things.

very simple to screw up when doing that. i triple checked every last thing before i even picked up the drill.
