dont build em like they used to

I read a few years ago about a guy who put an insane amount of miles on and old Dodge diesel and it still ran perfect, Dodge ended up giving him a brand new truck. that would be awesome

BMW has or used to have a deal where if you hit 1,000,000 miles they would give you an M3

thats awesome, funny its another florida story, they just had a woman on the news a few months back who lives in new port richey near me, who bought a 76 camaro brand new, and still drives it everyday, she also is in her low 80's, and the car has been overhauled once since new back to original condition, and it hit 1 million mile mark the day it was on the news, car looks absolutely mint. they make it if treated right.

I bet he sold the new truck and kept driving the old one, I've found that they really DON'T build them like they used to, that goes for any company

This is the type of car I learned to drive in. My Dad keeps cars forever, and thought that he should keep the '64 Comet for the 'kids' to learn to drive with...

289 Hi Perf engine (about 280 hp I think) 4 speed manual, lots of get up and go, and tougher than nails. Survived my brother and I learning to drive a stick, and then lived on through 1 cousin learning to drive and then back to my Dad. Ugly pale yellow, and the hottest black vinyl interior ever. When I was learning to drive short shorts were in, and I blistered the back of my legs lots in that car. ;)
