I might be getting a new car, and giving my LS to my father. Since I own my own company, I can write off a vehicle if it weighs over a certain amount. I am thinking of getting an Infiniti QX56. I wouldn't be going through with this for another few months, but, I miss my baby already.

Oh man! You just got on here and started to love that car!

Well, if things turn out well for me in the next few months, I may just buy my dad an LS in adition to myself a new car, and keep my LS as a project car. There is a reason for the big SUV. First, it's one of the best in class, and secondly, since I am a small business owner, my accountant has decided that I can go ahead and purchase the SUV, and use it as a tax write-off. Unfortunately, the vehicle has to be above a certain weight, meaning only large trucks and SUV's. I'm looking more into this, because otherwise, I'll get something more practical. Trust me, I'd hate to get rid of the LS, but I need some write-off's. I have no kids and my house is owned by my LLC so I can't technically write off the interest. As I said in another post, I pay way too much in taxes for my liking. Maybe we'll have to change the site to LVCVI. LOL, jk. Even if I give my car to my dad, I will still be working on it. He'd love to have a nice little hot rod.

Because it weighs more than 6,000 lbs.? As a small business owner I believe that you can write off any vehicle (under a certain price) over 3 years.

Buy American, if you are an American. Buy Japanese, if you are Japanese. Cars are very major purchases, and they deserve to be kept within your homeland, unless there is a very good reason for not doing so.

The FX is pretty smooth too, but it has no rear cargo space. The trunk in my LS is bigger! But it is fast, and I think it's a looker.

Too bad when you "buy American" anymore you are buying an American name built in a foreign country. I'm pretty sure the only car completely built in America is like some type of Honda or something...no crap. At least that's what I heard somewhere.

alot of toyotas are built 100% in the good ol usa, however scions are 100% from japan, look for your self at a toyota dealer they have a percent ratio on the window of the car and I assume other car companys do to and if they dont Im sure there hiding something
