Door Latch

My door won't open from the inside. I pull the handle and the lock opens but the door doesn't. i have to open it from the outside. anyone know how to fix this probelm. Please e mail me @ anjinfla77@aol.com

The rod might have come undone on the inside of the door. If the little plastic bushing breaks the rod can slide right out.
