Door Sill Refurbishment/Cleaning

i've searched around for this but can't find anything on it so apologize if i've missed something obvious.

anybody dealt with their front sill plates being corroded/scuffed up like in the attached photo? mine are and i hate it.

Very common and from what I remember, nothing can be done.

That happens by dragging feet, etc. over the piece. Mine still look new; even the ones on the 2000. The only thing that can be done is replacement.
