Double Din Installation

Is this the only piece you need to install a double din DVD player into a 02 ls?

Thats the only part you need to buy. But get ready to get creative when cutting the middle out and attaching it to your head unit. I did my AVIC-D1 with that piece and the whole process was a pain in the ass. But i think i did better than any audio shop around where i live could do. Be careful because at $75 a pop, it'll be an expensive mistake if you screw that piece up. Good luck. Post pics when your done.

How does the piece attach to the head unit after you cut out the center?

Team Ford in Las Vegas sells them. Contact Bill Jenkins (TeamFord), or use their banner ad on the right side of the forum. The part is the face/trim plate for the factory Nav system.
