I have seen a couple of guys with double x pipes on their exahust systems. What dose this do for performance? Can I get the same effect by putting a high flow muffler on?

that isnt what he is talkign about i dont think. I think he means the twin x-pipes.

The title states "Double X pipe" I gave him the press release link to our Twin XX pipe torque chamber press release which explains the product in detail which he was after.

Yes that is what I was looking 4. But in the write up it states- to be used with your already existing twin-x pipes. Is that a requirement for these mufflers to work properly? or can I use them with a true dual set-up?

The purpose for a double X pipe set up is to lessen drone of the exhaust and, from what I've heard, provide a little more low end torque.

I'm running a single X pipe and am truley happy with it.
