Still checking this guy out, but looks good to me. By the way, how many of you knew he was running? There seems to be a media blackout about this guy.

Other important legislation

The “Tax Relief Extension Reconciliation Act” - averting tax hikes on capital gains and dividends, exempting ordinary taxpayers from the alternative minimum tax, and protecting small business owners.

Introduced the “Affordable Gas Price Act of 2005”, a multi-faceted piece of legislation designed to reduce gas prices by providing tax incentives for investment in oil refineries, as well as terminating restrictions on oil and natural gas development on federal lands.

Voted for the “Refinery Permit Process Schedule Act”, requiring President Bush to designate new suitable sites for oil refineries and streamlining the regulations and red tape for approving applications for these new refineries.

Not running as a Republican? Not a chance.

I'm not throwing my vote away so we can elect another Dem. The country cannot afford it.

Sorry, as a Republican, we are not going to get the ideal candidate we all want. But I will tell you what, having a guy like Guiliana is a hell of a lot better than ANYBODY running on the Dem side, except maybe Kucinich.

He is running as a Republican.

Heck, Bryan, he's already a member of the House of Representatives. I should have said Dr. Ron Paul (R).

I'd vote for Giuliani before I'd vote for Clinton or Obama.

I knew he was in the House of Rep. I thought he was running as a Libertarian candidate

YESSIR! I just got confirmation - Ron Paul endorses the film Innocents Betrayed, which is sponsored by Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership.

"Innocents Betrayed ... shows why gun control must always be rejected." --Rep. Ron Paul, U.S. Congressman (Texas, 14th District)

THIS is my guy!

(Not that I wouldn't vote for Newt in a pinch, of course)
