dream car <3

just sayin, shelby gt500 will blow that away. especially when it comes with its extra cubes and revised supercharger.

no way, stock shelby won't keep up. maybe if the shelbys got some extra power added yeah, thats definately a race i want to see. 2012 mercedes benz s65 amg v12 biturbo vs 2012 shelby gt 500 5.4l supercharged

the s65 amg and a gt500 have the same 0-60 times. plus the shelby is a quarter of the price of the mercedes. a extra $15K and youll bump the hp of the shelby from 540 to 1200+, its a no brainer.

until you remember the gt500 has a solid rear axle..
and the merc is the height of german luxury and power. sure the gt500 is more powerful, but that's about it.

ahh, i think shelbys are sick cars don't get me wrong, but i think mercedes are just jawdroppers.

then still for less than the merc you can have the Shelby + a Lexus and have enough money left for a huge down on a house

remember that you can still increase the power of the twin turbo 6.0l v12 from 604 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque. the merc is no slouch. the torque is actually limited to 738. there is more there even totally stock. it just ruins tires really, but its there.

true that. but anyway, my point is, whats the point in comparing cars with the price difference of a house? 210,900 vs 50,000.

Where is 210900 and 50000 from? And really a house at 200k for 30years would be less that the initial cost, maintenance, and fuel consumption in 30years of owning that merc, which one can you still sell for over 200k?

210900 is from AMGs website and 48 something is fords msrp for the gt500 coupe.
and who cares about the house. houses cant powerslide!
