Hey everyone,
Been a while since I've been on the board (been a while since the wifes LS had a problem ;) ) Anyway, the drivers side front tire is cupping which is indicative of front suspension component wear or failure. The car is a 00 LS8 Sport, it has the noisey sway bar that I have never done anything about. Could this be the cause? Or is it more likely to be ball joint or tie rod? Any input is appreciated.

I would say replace the shocks. Alignment issues aren't suppose to cause cupping, but worn shocks easily cause cupping.

Might be a n00b question but I'm don't understand the term cupping. What does this imply?
