My power seat is not operating (backward and forward) and my mechanic says that it Lincoln wants $900 to replace the track. Can't believe there aren't any other options...anyone have a suggestion?

I called my local dealer (kinda local the other one went out of business). They want $1200 to replace the whole assembly. They will not just replace part of it - "too much labor involved"

There are some on eBay right now!

i have a little experiance with this, power lubar motor bad. learn seat repair the hard way.

do the power mirros work? if not check the fuse in the distrubution box, #19 30amp looking from the front of the car 1st green fuse on the drivers side of the box.

there is also a fuse under the seat. (need to remove base from seat)

plus there are several fuses in the fuse panel #35 #4 #18 #38
