Crank or wheel? I would love 454hp. Sold my novi1000 kit. Bummer. Fill in with more stats when you get to track.

Nice numbers but why the 05 GT crank? It's not any stronger than the stock Mark VIII cast crank...

WOW, Is there any reason to use the GT crank rather than a Mark VIII? How much boost? Are you using a inter cooler? Thanks Don

How do you like the P1SC? What kinda boost level are you running? Stock heads/cams, correct?

I see that's an uncorrected dyno, but since you're in Florida it probably wouldn't have changed much.

The ford gt is a boosted engine. What better crank then one that is bosted.

boost

I am running 12lb of boost and the reason for the crank is the builder likes the strength. No I haven't been to the track, still breaking it in. I like the p1 , if I were drag racing it I would probably get the D1.

454 HP at 12PSI and 6600RPM? That's winding the hell out of that 4.6 to make that power. What's the CR? 5:1?

And what's up with all the dips in the power lines? If you're using a smoothing correction of 5, I'd hate to see what the spikes and dips would look line non-smoothed.

Your torque curve doesn't look very impressive, either. It's peaking peaking at 5000 RPM and starting to fall on it's face almost instantly, by 5400. Your torque curve really is a curve.

Personally, I'd be concerned about all the dips and bumps in those power lines.

What was your AFR? What gear did you do this pull in?

I think you've got some other issues going on there. I know guys with Prochargers like yours that are pulling 500+ HP out of 8 psi.

Don't expect great (quick) times at the track with the way that motor is making that power. Unless you plan to launch at 5000 RPM and keep it between 5000 and 6500 RPM for the duration of the 1/4 mile run.

* 2005 Mustang GT crankshaft- polished and race prepared =\= Ford GT crank

Last aluminum block MOD engines I assembled were GT engines with GT cranks. They were converted from dry sump to wet sump however and pulled 1000HP on pump gas

Power

Yea it does drop but I am still running the 323 gears . trans and rear end are next.

There is a Cobra engine swapped Mark here someplace with stock trans and rear. Just Jmoded the trans and he is pulling high 10's in the quarter with drag radials :D

I believe your talking about Mike Burbank http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/showthread.php?t=70219 He is running 4:10 gears 4,000 stall with 12 PSI also.

Yeah but this is what I had on his build for that?

Dunno cause I'm shocked that it's just a Jmoded stock trans

ENGINE:
Forged bottom end with:
Cobra Crank
Manley rods with ARP 2000 bolts
Manley Flat top Pistons (0.020 over)
SHM Piston rings.
Rotating assembly was balanced and prepared by Seanhylandmotorsports and the Engine was reassembled by ME.
Stock heads ported by Me to match IMRC deletes.
Cobra Intake manifold( Ported by me and runners were shortened 2 inches)

POWER ADDER:
Vortech V2 S trim running 12 PSI of boost.(3.2 Reichard racing 6 rib Pulley)
Anderson Meth Injection.
Upgraded Bypass Valve.
Reichard racing Manual belt tensioner and steel cobra tensioner help keeping the belt tight.

FUEL:
42 Injectors
255 Walbro HP fuel Pump.

Exhaust:
Kooks Headers from SCP.
Dual 2.5 inch into single 3.5 inch pipe and 3.5 inch Dynomax straight through muffler.

Trans:
Stock and original Trans with 94k miles on it with J Mod.
Dirtydog 4200 stall Torque Converter.
2 trans coolers.
trans temp gauge.

Rear end and suspension:
Stock rear end with 4.10 gears and track lock.
03 cobra coupe rear shocks.
KYB front shocks.
Coil over conversion and lowered over 2 inches.
Front sway bar removed.
Hub swapped to 4.5" bolt pattern.
Weld Prostar Wheels.
MMX driveshaft.

Bolt ons or supporting mods.
80mm C&L MAF
Meziere Electric water pump.
BBK 65mm Throttle body.

I know someone else had the stock gears, I thought it was him?

Still impressive for a basically stock higher mileage trans no matter what
