The Dynamax X flo muffler is still pretty new. I wasn't able to find any audio clips of it on the Mark VIII. The Magnaflow appears to be a little less expensive and a few LvC members have posted audio/video clips of their cars with it installed.

The Dynomax was back ordered by about a week through Jegs.

no dynomax i put a sys on a bird and in 1 year both mufflers had holes rotten into them as bad as the factory sys that had 115k on it go magnaflow

Dynomax on my 92 Grand Marque police unit lasted all of 2 years before they rusted out. Maybe they have gotten better?

if i ran the magnaflow and had the pipes expanded to 3in after the gas tank would that make it louder and more aggressive sounding. i like the way magnaflow sounds it just alittle to mellow for my taste.

My DynoMax super turbos were nothing but a rusted out shell in 1.5 years. they never dry completely when they are mounted at the back of the car like on Mark VIII's.

just like the bird i could put my fist through the holes on both mufflers

Well, :q:q:q:q.... I just bought one. The day before this thread took a turn.

A lot of CadillacOwners have had success with Dynomax. I have Magnaflows on my ETC, they're a bit loud for my tastes on that car. I have no experiance with the 2 in 2 out variety.

They gave me a brand new pair under warranty, which I still have in the box out in the garage.

what did u have to do to get the refund, they told my friend that we had to remove the exhaust and ship it to them (and they wouldnt cover shipping) not to mention we welded the whole cat back sys together so we would have to hack the hell out of it and there would be no exhaust on the car till they sent us a new one, so we said hell with it and did a 2.5" true duals and the ever pop 2 in 2 out magnaflow set up and it sounds good, execpt for the droan at highway speeds, lots less sound insulation in a bird than an 8

So what do you Corsa exhaust people have to say in this thread. Any imput on your mufflers? Is there a way to get all four muffler(Dynomax, Magnaflows, Borla & Corsa), sound clips together for a comparison?

I intend to have a before/after clip with the Dynomax up by next weekend. I'm going to record the "before" as soon as the recorder's battery recharges. Figuring out a way to get good audio will be the challenge. I think I'll use a wireless mike.

I took them back to where I bought them. I also had the warranty certificate that I had to send off for, and they gave me a new pair.

If you want the best sound from your mark, go high flow cats, straight pipe, and bassani dual in dual out 2-1/2" muffler. Bassani is THE best sound you will ever find.
