Most of the time, I carry this firearm as a duty weapon. And since I love the gun, I decided I wanted a set of these in sequential serials to just keep in the safe. Do I get them in sequential serials after I specifically requested them as such? Ofcourse not! Bastages...

The 3000 rounds of ammo should last me a good month though. No, really... I go through about 15,000 rounds a year. I use the SS190 stuff at work, but the 195 has pretty much the same ballistics, so it's perfect for practice.

I'm still annoyed about the nonsequential serial numbers though.

you use an fn herstal five seven as a service weapin?! what do you do? thats a bad ass weapon.

i love how they call a 7.62 machine gun the mini-me or something like that
 
Yes I use the 5.7 as a duty weapon. What I do is not important. As far as it being a "bad ass weapon", it's not really anything special. It's a Browning delayed blowback system. What makes the weapon so successful is the rounds it fires. Ever bullseye a target from 100 yards with a non competition pistol?

Rich, SAW's are nice, but damn it, I don't like lugging them around.
 
well can i take guess...from your name "frogman" i know a few types of jobs where you can be called a frogman....but i have one in mind if your reluctant to talk about it

5-7 is my second favorite gun next to a sig 228

I just brokered a 2nd gun safe for my friend , (he was always bitchn that every time he got a new gun he had to sell one to fit it in his safe)

it's getting harder and harder to buy guns here in CA, I think San Francisco mite of outlawed and hand gun ownership in the city limits.
 
Never liked the Macs and Teks.

Spray and pray guns. Though, that one looks like a "legal" semi.

Btw, Can technology has advanced far enough now that a new 6" can will be about 60% more effective than the one you have pictured.
 
how legal are suppressors? those vary by state or is it a fed law? Mac 10's are cool little guns

frogman...what was your weapon of choice besides the fn. mp5? m4?
 
As in CCW cary?

If you can afford it, do it. If you can find a way to get 21 rounds of SS190 (no, I will not sell, give, forget somewhere for you) ammo, then You'd be in business. The 195 works pretty well for Self defense too though.

I've never recommended really large calibers for CCW. In case you ever have to shoot a BG, you drill the BG, and risk the round drilling an innocent bystander behind the BG.

That's what makes the 5.7 round so desirable for CCW carry. Whether it's 100 yards or point blank, the round won't go past 12 inches once it impact the BG. We're talking center mass here, not if you hit an extremety, ofcourse.
