I dont know if this is the correct forum but while searching the internet I found this site http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stor...atalogId=10002&storeId=10001&categoryId=17677
It has a selectable swithch fot ford/lincoln transmisions that electronically soups up your tranny. Dont know if it works but I will be testing it in the very near future. JEGGS sells it so it must work somewhat.

I did the MERC V fluid/Filter, dont know if its the MEC V or the fact I changed the fluid but whoooeee! recomend!

The shift programmers increase the line pressure and sometimes have the capability to adjust the shift points. A custom tune with the same stuff adjusted would accomplish the same thing but not have the on-the-fly adjustability. I believe you guys have the 4R70W AOD-E trannies right? If so, then go with the Baumann shift kit if you want something to really firm your shifts up. They cost $100 and are well worth it. I have installed two thus far and it isn't hard at all as long as you have basic mechanical skills (aka. change your own oil. etc.).

Beware of the B&M ShiftPlus Electronic Shift Improver for the reasons stated.

Baumann rocks!!! :D

You referring to the B&M shift module or the Baumann shift kit?

A friend of mine had one in his Mustang, and he seemed to like it. IIRC his tranny started to get f'ed up after a while though like Brandon said, I'd go with the mechanical shift kit

Yep, coupled with an extra auxiliary tranny cooler it is ideal for the type of duty some of you seem to want. One thing that I thought was great was that even with my Baumann installed to stage 4C it was still allot more mild than I thought it would be on the part throttle shifts. Once I learned to manipulate the gas pedal I could make the shifts feel smooth as stock when I wanted them to.

I was referring to the B&M. It makes your trans shift harder, but not what you would want, it still has tons of lag and its not the best kit. I think I payed 120 for a trans-go kit. I love it!

Yeah it increases line pressure but without making the passages through which the fluid flows, bigger. The end result is much hotter fluid which leads to other problems within the tranny. Then couple any hardware hickups the programmer can have and it really isn't worth it.
