EATC Code 30 fix

Ok my AC/heat doesn't work at all and accoring to the EATC out I have a code 30 on my 97 Towncar and I am trying to figure out how to fix it. Any ideas? If the Auto temp sensor is shorted is there a way to replace it with a manual one?

and describe what happens when trying to use the EATC in detail like all sounds

Error code 30 is Automatic temperature control sensor shorted

When I turn on the air or heat I get no blower action (so I admit it could be the blower) but the ac and heat both run and I can hear the mix doors opening or closing.

Tuen on the ac/heat and drive and you get air movenment and cold/hot air so all that works.

I'm just tying to find a way to disable the automatic temp sensor to see if that fixes the problem.
