I have tried to deal with that person before. He is insaine. He wanted $90 for an inner door handle bezel. It was in great shape so was worth $30 but he told me I had no idea what the part was worth. Like I dont buy and sell Mark parts all the time. :lol:

Actually about 30 min before I signed up I just watched crazy frog for the first time on you tube..There is a bunch of videos on there and I passed one and that one led me to watch a bunch..funny stuff, here is the first one I watched..

I dealt with this douche before. He had a couple of parts I wanted for spares on the 97. He was asking outrageous pricing and I sent him an offer on all of them, of course he turned all down.

I would understand if he had the parts at a price that is closer to what they are worth but that is just too much.
I had a guy win a bid on an item I had on there from France and even though it wasn't close to what I wanted he had won and I was willing to send it.But for one the shipping would have been like $65 and I didn't think the shipping cost would have been worth it for him and the other was the address information just was not matching up.
I just stopped everything because I have been scamed once before and would like to avoid that again.If it was a scam.

That may be true, the price hikes compensating for shipping costs overseas. But, the majority of the demand is here in the USA, and with that said he should be charging correct pricing for the item and have proper S/H charges for here, and a separate S/H charge for the buyers overseas, it is all in the disclosures.
But to eliminate the local folks in hopes to target overseas buyers only is a sales tactic for failure in my opinion. I would much rather off load parts and make a few bucks, then to have to hold them in storage like a 1000 pieces of anchor weights.
Not to crap on your parade with the possiblility of overseas targeting idea, but do you honestly think that the demand is so large for Mark VIII parts that he can solely target that crowd and not consider the local crowd? I think not, I would not think that a Lincoln product was sold in numbers overseas to allow a scenario like that to work and be profitable. Most all American made vehicles overseas got there by the Armed Forces leaving them in port and selling them to locals there in country.
This Douche Bag is just trying to make a hugh profit on the dumb and dumber crowd. And so far by looking at what he has sold in the past, the Mark VIII parts have not sold and also if you look at the other parts he is selling, the pricing is relatively fair market. So is he thinking that a Lincoln is only for the rich and the rich can afford his parts pricing?
He is still a DOUCHE BAG in my book.

Maybe for the more hard to find parts, but, for the most part, there's very low demand for any of the parts. Particularly the 'boring' parts that don't really wear out. Light rear brake lights or tail lights.
I had an extra pair of tail lights that I threw on Ebay for $20 for both.
There was no interest. One person offered $10 pair. And the Russian was happy to pay to have them shipped. So, with shipping, he happily paid about $80.

He has nearly 1100 sales, almost all positive.
He doesn't specialize in Mark VIII parts. So, it is possible that he's charging a bit of a premium to focus on the overseas buyers- at least that's what he rudely announced:

Based on the posted responses, I would tend to agree with that.
However, the international marketing is a plausible explanation.

If you look at his feedback closely, I see hardly any sold to overseas buyers, so in my eyes he is shooting himself in the foot not targeting all buyers with fair market pricing and S/H disclosures for all local and overseas
Either way, we all see the big picture, and none of us on here will never buy from this DOUCHE BAG.
