How much rougher is the ride quality for the LS with the Eibach springs compared to the stock springs?

The ride is good. A bit stiff. You have to watch for large bumbs and holes. It doesn't take much to hit bottom with the LS lowered. My Eibachs dropped my LS 1.75" inches.

Just did mine this past week. I absolutely love it. The ride is more firm, but not harsh. Unless of course you hit some really, really tore up roads. I actually like the way it feels and handles more than I like the way it looks and I love the way it looks. I think it is a very worth while modification. I couldn't be happier. Although I need new tires, so I'm sure the ride will even be a hair smoother with new tires.

I can't wait to put springs on my LS, but it's going to cost me more than most others. We get a lot of snow up here in northern MN, and the LS is my only car right now. When I do the drop, I'll have to buy a 4wd truck for winter. Kinda adds a bit more to the cost.

I would not even drop it man. I thought about doing it but there is too much to sacrifice in our situation.

Yeah, but think how much cooler it will run when you're dragging your oil pan through 6 inches of snow... :D

Just be carefull over the BUMPS, I think the law would have a problem running over BUMBS...JK Rollin...
If you like the look, go for it, and be carefull. The slow speed bumps are very sleightly sharper, but the high speed ride comfort is hardly noticeable..
I say go for it! I love mine!

I don't see upgrading springs on worn shocks wise, what's a good shock for the 2nd gen. LS to wrap new Eibach's around?

The only aftermarket company that I know of that makes shocks for the LS is Monroe. I would advise against those. I had them on my LS and they were junk. Your best bet is the stock replacement shocks.

Kens right! I went from the base model shocks to the sports when I did the swap.

Okay, for us in the Great White North are there better springs to wrap around the sport shocks? Firmer ride with less drop?

Was there a particular issue with the Monroe shocks?

Stock Shocks ONLY. Also, the Eibach Pro kit with fresh stock sport package shocks are great. Not harsh, the look is nice. Not too low, just aggressive enough. Speed bumps can be an issue, but you get used to it.
