I am the proud owner of a 1970 Cadillac Eldorado which I have had for the past 4 years. I've just discovered this site and I'm glad I did. My car is currently in the shop having the front end suspension rebuilt, some brake work done, and some steering components replaced. The shop and I had trouble finding spindles but luckily I came across a pair yesterday and I can finally get my car back soon after being gone for quite some time. My car is a yellow color with a black vinyl top and gold interior. It has some small rust areas on the quarter panel on the drivers side and of course the usual rust around the base of the top. The only things that don't work in the car are the power door locks and the power trunk pull down feature. I believe it needs a cable for the trunk and for the locks I'm sure it's just a switch. In the time that I have owned the car I have replaced the shocks, alternator, spark plugs, wires, water pump, thermostat, belts, fuel pump, air filter and changed the oil and now I'm having the front end work and brake work done at the shop. They tell me it's mechanically very solid which I was of course glad to hear
