Just a few questions for all those who have put an electric fan in a Gen 1. I ordered the Derale 16833 fan along with a Derale Adjustable Fan Controller kit (pictures attached). I’m not running a switch.
1. Is it possible to have the fan turn on whenever I turn on the ac and before it starts overheating? (Like when the thermostat opens up)

This is where my questions come in,
- Did you wire the positive all the way back into the trunk, or did you bypass it somehow to avoid doing that?
- When you wired or found the 12v “key” did you use a fuse tap?
- If you wired it for the fans to turn on when the ac is turned on, where exactly is the trigger wire for the ac compressor to do this?
