Engine stand

Are engine stands universal, or do i need to get a specific one for the 4.6?

Most I've seen can be adjusted to fit most any engine.

I've had 2, 4.6 DOHC engines on my UNIVERSAL engine stand.

Yeam they pretty much all work. Don't skimp on quality tho. Get a stand thats big enough to hold a fully dressed engine + some. I use a 2000 pound 4 leg unit, and NEVER worry about putting an engine on it.


I've had a Cummins Turbo Deisel on it and it showed NO sign of flexing.

k, ill just ask for one for christmas, untill then ill just keep the engine (when i pick it up) on used tires.

what about this one, its a 1250#

That is the one I have and have had a MOD motor on it with no problems.......just make sure to get the right bolts to hold the stand to the back of the motor.....
