DOES ANTONE KNOW IF THE ENGINE OUT OF A 2005 LS 3.9 WILL WORK IN A 2000 LS IF SO WHAT NEEDS TO BE CHANGED

NO IT WILL NOT! The electronics are different and the gen II has variable cam timing.

Heads, intake manifold with TB need swapped. Whatever sensors are on the Gen I block. Block will work heads won't. 02_Linc has an 06 block with a Gen I top end swapped under warranty.
