This is my design for the self storing ramps on my "Toybox" trailer project.
The spare tire weights about 100 lbs and the ramp material weighs about 150 lbs. The large section of ramp is 64" and the small section is 30". The lever on the fulcrum can be no longer than 7" to remain concealed in the belly pan.
What diameter 12" stroke cylinder(s) will be necessary to lift this load at 150 psi?
It has been suggested that I uses 12-volt linear actuators but I still need to know the math.
