Those are always awesome shows, Clapton is really one of the greatest. It's wonderful how, at this point in his life and career, he plays with a love for the music and not ego. It takes some real passion and confidence to tour with Doyle Bramhall and Derek Trucks as your side men. An insecure, or self-worshiping guitarist would never have two, such immensely talented, guitar slingers next to him like that.
 
these shows always rock. Toyota park is okay, but I've been to much better venues. Not that I.m complaining. Chicago is like ten hours from me. If you guys haven't seen john mayer play at there festivals, You're in for a treat. He's actually got some decent blues chops.
 
Joe Bonamassa is confirmed for this; I really wish it wasn't in Chicago and a bit closer to Boston.
