I took a new job not too long ago and now have a different route to work. Well, one day my auto wipers started for a couple seconds (very fast) then stopped- it wasn't raining. It has now been a full week and everyday my wipers start and stop at the exact same spot on the highway, again only for a few seconds. So my question is.... am I crazy?

Could it possibly be that there is a shadow being cast over your sensor at that particular spot? Fooling the sensor into thinking thta the wipers need to be on??

Or then again, maybe you are crazy and they really are not coming on. A sort of optical delusion if you will.

i dont know but my wipers are pressure sensative. if you tap on the sensor when its on mine will just start wiping. but i dont know if a shadow would cause it to do that also. but if i leave it on and drive to lets say austin were i hit a bunch of bugs and i forget to turn it off they will move by themselves.
