Replaced the valve cover gaskets again this weekend, replaced the IMT o-rings for the first time while I had it out.
2003, V6, 120K miles.

Oil was dripping out of the intake when I set it on my workbench. I believe that most of it is coming from the PCV line as oil was also dripping out of it. Is this normal? Others obviously have some oil in the intake as people mention it leaking from the IMT o-rings. But it seems to be to be way more oil than what ought to be inside the intake. If abnormally high, what is the likely cause? I did a quick search but did not find any answers.

Is there supposed to be any kind of filter on the PCV valve? The PCV valve has about 20K miles on it, I replaced it when I did the valve cover gaskets 3 years ago.

It's probably normal. (I can say that it's not that abnormal for the V8.) If you are not having to add oil, and if it is running okay, then I don't think it's anything to worry about. Especially if you are calling that a lot. I've seen way more than that in the bottom of the V8 intake manifold.

It usually uses a quart between changes, run full synthetic, change at 6K. Part of that was leaking valve covers, which I just replaced. There was a puddle that ran out of the intake on my bench, though so there was more than what you see. It runs fine, generally.
