what are you guys using besides the lse tips? i have the magnaflow exhaust, but i was thinking of having round tips instead of the turndowns....obviously i will have to have an exhaust shop cut the bumper. also, will that make the exhaust sound different coming straight out opposed to being turned down to the ground.

I used the magnaflow dual double-rolled tips $49.95 each

the tips will not change the sound noticeably.

These guys have the LSE Valance. or the 03+ Here's a few pics of mine with magna flow single oval type tips the shop cut the black plastic part of my valance. I think they did a great job.

Heres a shot of our mufflers with the 4.75 inch rolled ovals. The XII twin tipped mufflers we carry look viscious as well.

i've got an '00 without exhaust cut outs, so instead of making the cuts we just brought the pipes down about 45 degrees with 3" round tips. i personally like the effect.

you guys got any pics of the already cut plastic part so that the tips will sit parallel to the ground ( or almost)? i want to cut them out myself with a dremel so i just want to see pics if anyone has done so yet.

Have steagle show you a side profile because I have seen a few like that and you can see the nasty looking part of the exhaust and then the tip as well. His may be different though.....

Maybe not on an LS. I had a friend with 40 series Flowmasters on his mustang and turn-downs opposed to straight tips definitely made a difference in sound.

looks good. i think thats gonna be my next project. just gotta find some tips i like and find out how much its gonna cost to cut the curved tip off the stock exaust tip.

Stinkin, those look great! Polish them up a bit with some metal polish and they'll really complement the car! Good work!
