Exhaust - What to get?

So, I've grown tired of the Thrush Turbo Mufflers on my car. And I HATE straight pipes (it sounds so bubbly and like the engine isn't working properly) so I'm not going to even consider. But I've looked at various glass packs and Dynomax Mini Bullet Mufflers - I'm open to other suggestions. To narrow it down, I like a raspy, angry, bat-out-of-hell sound, but not ridiculously loud. Also, I'm a lifeguard, I don't get paid that well so I can't drop a whole lot of dough on making it sound different. Regardless, I appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

I'd purchased some stuff from Geno before, nice fella. I'll see.

I'm not running straight pipes per se, but had the 2 rear 'resonators' removed and replaced with straight pieces of pipe and then stock tips welded to them. Car is not super loud but has a good sound to it without being obnoxious. Even had a compliment from some guy at a gas station in a pick up who said" I don't like Fords but your Lincoln sounds really good". HE was driving some big ass 4 wheel drive dodge and I STILL don't like their trucks!
