extreme athletes

What timing for this thread!

This weekend was my family's annual biathlon. A tradition from before I was born. We all head up to the cabin - spend the first afternoon breaking trail and setting up targets, then eat and drink way too much. Get up on Saturday, get in a little target practice, and then the different groups 'race'. It is soooo much fun - my group (us '40s') do about 6 miles and 12 targets, half standing, half prone. There is a senior group - 4 miles/8 targets, a 'real stuff' group - 10 miles/20 targets and a kids group - 2 miles/4 targets.

Then much more eating and drinking and good sleeping.

My thighs still burn today... but that good burn ;)

Søt frosk

You only get to participate if you strap on those 210s... :p

agoing down a trail isn't that extreme, no i agree, going for an hour an a half at balls to the wall through tight single track and trails that people break bones on, that to me is semi extreme, i have jumped out of airplanes, bungee jumped, base jumped, but i still get more adrenaline out of mountain biking

No, but I need to get back into this semester. Stay on my ass about it, will you? :D

My only exercise is work(painter so running around and going up and down ladders) chasing the kids, moving around things for my wife, and my wife:D . When I die it will probably be in the bedroom:rolleyes: .
