I went car shopping in Houston yesterday. Looking for a 03 or 04 Cadillac Deville. Found lots of great bargains, however they wanted to screw me on the LS on trade. The most I was offered was $15,800.00 I told them they could keep the Caddies and came back home in the LS.
 
That's the way it works man. They only gave me 15 for my 2002. That's why I didn't do a trade.
 
Just keep shopping around. Few years back Carmax only offered $6500 for my Eclipse and the Honda dealership next door gave me $12000 so you never know.
 
yea.. that kinda sucks.. but keep trying though the deville would be worth it. i also have a 00 deville, the same body style up to the 05`s and its great man.great comfort and power. driving my wifes car then goin back to the ls makes it feel like i`m driving a corolla or something. still love my ls though. can't beat the rear wheel drive and great features.

oh yea.. if you can, try to get the dts unless you need that extra seat in the front. i once fit 7 people in that car on a 5 hr trip and everyone was comfortable.:)

Oh yea, the DTS's are nice. ONe of my relatives had a a silver 2002 DTS and traded it for one of the new ones just a couple months ago. The new one's are very nice.
 
i dont think they would be any quicker then the v8 LS, they got the same engine as the STS right? and alot heavier...
 
unless Black lincoln has the V6 version of the LS. The devilles are really nice. I personally like the DHS just becuase it has more high tech stuff then the DTS. 7 people are nothing compared to what the corolla can fit. I recently went to Pakistan, and the lux cars over there are considered to be toyota corolla. We had 8 people fit into that car.(not comfortable of course)
 
nah i got the v8 ls. the deville has more power than the ls for sure but it feels faster because of the higher torgue output. i never actually pulled a race off with my wife because each time she was driving the deville and the car scares her when it gets up in rpm.. lol...so she would ease off the gas. i dont really speed in the deville though but i`ll have to take it out to the 1/8 mile track sometime to see if it can beat the 9.7 i put down in the ls.

ps. that was a clean deville too smokey.
 
Yeah, the one '03 DTS I drove was pretty peppy. I do not think it would hang with my LS though, at least not with Torrie's tune in it. :) I guess I just need to sell mine outright and then go look for a Caddy.

I would include the tuner and all my tunes for the LS with the car if someone that appreciates the tuning stuff. :)

I am asking $19,300 if you guys know anyone iinterested. Non negotiable as that is my pay off. I know, but I just bought it 03-01-06.
