Well i ran the first production piece on on the red car for a week. No leaks, no problems. Everything went smooth. It cleared everything on the K member no problem. I can also run a canton windage tray with this pan. I think I will have two additional units available. I will have some nifty pics available within the next 3 days.
They are fully baffled, have a 3/8" drain, and a 3/8" drain line for a supercahrger in the front of the pan. I am wanting to make about 7 more pans if there is enough interest. I can add cooling fins to the bottom of the pan, and also add additional inlets for turbo drain, ect. Whatever you need, it just costs extra. These pans also utilize the stock pickup tube as well. The pickup tube jsut needs to be modified if you are running a canton windage tray, which is reccomended.
***With this oilpan the level sensor will not work. I have directions to bypass this sensor w/o getting a check message.
***In my opinion if you need a message on the dash to tell you that your oil is low, you are not taking proper care of your car and this oilpan is definatly not for you. You should check your oil at the minimum of everytime you refuel the car. With that said
I have already sold one of these pans. Would anyone else be interested? The base price is 325$ shipped. As far as I know this is the only aftermarket oilpan for the mark VIII. Please feel free to PM me about these pans, or reply here. I have sold/traded with at least 60 members of the LOD for the past 4 years. I have nothing but solid positive feedback, and have many members that can vouch for this.
