I went to rotate my tires on my newly acquired 98 Continental today, and found a locking lug nut. It appears to be factory installed, but the previous owner never said anything about a key. I have already checked the glove box, does anyone have any idea where Lincoln may have hidden the key? If it's lost, has anyone had experience trying to get a replacement key?

Thank you!

Check in the trunk where the spare tire is. If you dont find the piece you will have to get out the hammer and chisel or the vise grips or something. It wont be fun.

trunk, glove box, center console..

personally, no experience with replacement keys..

a correctly sized socket and hammer it on has worked for some though..

+2 find a impact socket (usually black) that fits over over the lock, go down one size and beat it on then zip it off. most i came across i used a 22mm socket, but check to make sure first.
