Fast Idling

Hay guys, my 96 Mark VIII is having a problem, it happen before, what is happen is that my Mark is idling fast, yesterday it started to happen frequently, the first time it happen, I had to tap the trodle body to get it to stop idling fast, and now I have to tap the trodle body a little more often, can any body tell me the best way to get rid of this fast idling that I'm having.

I will be thankful for any help.

Well guys no reply.
This weekend, I'm going to take a look at it and try to find out what is going on, hopefully all it may need is cleaning.

And by the way the word trodle should spell throttle, could this be the reason I got no respond..
 
Sounds like the gas cable is sticking or the cruise cable is slightly stuck
Take the intake tube off and lube the cables

It is the throttle body positioning sensor, i had that problem about a month ago. $24 sensor replaced...problem solved.
